– Hon Acho Ihim, Hon Kennedy Ibeh, Hon Lawman Duruji, Others Dumps Party
It is no more news that all is not well with the Action Alliance (AA), Imo State chapter following the emergence of Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party as the governor of Imo State.
Just weekend, five legislators of the party namely; Hon Mike Iheanetu representing Aboh Mbaise State Constituency , Hon Victor Onyebuchi representing Owerri West State Constituency, Hon Ken Agbim representing Ahiazu Mbaise State Constituency, Hon Lloyd Chukwuemeka representing Owerri North State Constituency and Hon Bruno Ukoha representing Ezinihitte Mbaise State Constituency all moved from the Action Alliance to the Peoples Democratic Party on the floor of the State House of Assembly with Hon Chiji Collins of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) joining them to the PDP.
Not surprising today during the Inauguration of the 9th State House of Assembly, former Speaker Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Hon Acho Ihim representing Okigwe State Constituency, Hon. Kenneth Ibeh representing Obowo State Constituency and Hon. Lawman Duruji representing Ehime Mbano State Constituency , all of the Action Alliance, announced their defection to the PDP.
It is believed that more members elected under the party, Action Alliance will in days to come join their colleagues in the PDP movement.
It's more a shocking episode when their Action Alliance gubernatorial candidate in the march 9th Imo governorship election, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is still in the election petition tribunal challenging the victory of Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party.
