In line with the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) official date for lifting of ban for electioneering campaign for the presidential and National  Assembly elections ,  the Peoples Democratic Party's candidate for Imo West Senatorial District  in the 2019 general elections , Hon. Sir Chudi Jones Onyereri  , Monday , 19th November 2018 ; officially flagged off his  road-show tour of the  Senatorial District, kicking off from the party  secretariat in Orlu .
The unprecedented excitements and solidarity from party faithfuls, stakeholders, support groups, women and youths especially the electrifying music bands that entertained and enticed the villagers, road users and communities along the routes of the roadshow with different dance tunes and melodious songs as part of the team that accompanied the House of Representatives Committee Chairman on Banking and Currency  was indeed, a demonstration of a man loved by his people with  strong followership base and grassroots reach .
The seven local government areas covered by the Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , Hon Jones Onyereri , included  Orlu LGA ; which was the first port of call , Ideato North and South LGAs , Nkwerre LGA ,  Nwangele LGA , Isu and Njaba LGAs ; as the road show continues tomorrow .
Community markets in the seven LGAs toured were not left out as Hon Jones Onyereri and his supporters were received with warmth embrace by market men and women.
Meanwhile, Peoples Democratic Party candidates for the Federal House of Representatives and state House of Assemblies from the senatorial district also joined the roadshow in strong solidarity for Hon.Jones Onyereri whom Imo West Senatorial District has  rated as  the 'best  man for Orlu Senate seat ' .
Sir Jones Onyereri has once again proven to be a man who  understands the heartbeats of Orlu Senatorial Zone having demonstrated effective and robust representation as the honourable member representing Nkwerre_Njaba_Nwangele_Isu federal constituency.
