A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, and Director General Voice of Nigeria, Chief Osita Okorocha while speaking to Channels Television Sunrise Daily this morning warned the leadership of the All Progressive Congress and the Presidency not to cede party ticket to Governor Rochas Okorocha and his Son-in-law, Uche Nwosu who both are contesting for Imo West Senatorial District and Imo Governorship under the party platform, stating that the party will loose if tickets are given to Rochas Okorocha and his Son-in-law, Uche Nwosu.
He reiterated that Governor Okorocha is in loggerheads with Imo people, members of the All Progressive Congress in the state and the Catholic Church. He inferred that if Okorocha is given Orlu senate ticket and Son-in-law Uche Nwosu given Imo APC Governorship ticket, that the party will loose in Imo State in 2019 general election.
He noted that, as a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Nigeria, he wish the party well, but advised the party to save itself from shameful defeat in Imo State by not giving Okorocha ticket. He said Okorocha has impoverished and brought Ndi-Imo down to their knees through bad governance.
