The  leading Imo State governorship aspirant on the platform of United Progressive Party, UPP  in Imo State, Hon. Tony Nwulu has promised to put the state on the global map by  setting up  a tech-hub, which would stimulate  technological growth and  export of innovations

Hon Nwulu who recently defected from the People's Democratic Party, PDP to UPP made the vow  on Saturday at a Town hall meeting with the leadership of  past and present Student Union Governments, SUG of all tertiary institutions in Imo State.

The vibrant lawmaker who also hosted  the leadership of National Youth Council, Imo State chapter pointed out that the  future of the State depends on technology.

He promised  to create a system of world-class tech hub  that will provide technological solutions to most of the problems confronting Imolites in recent times.

He said: “ When we setup a Tech hub to be  made up of highly skilled people with entrepreneurship spirit  and backed by  a supportive system of government,  Imo youths will be emancipated."

According to the Sponsor of the Not Too Young To Run Bill recently passed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, he assured  that young Imolites will feature prominently in his government

He said "Do not be deceived anymore". Only a credible and courageous youth like me can understand and fix the problems of the youths in Imo.

Give  me  your support and I pledge to empower you all come 2019."

"Imo need a passionate youth like me to liberate our State . Imo youths support my aspiration ,give me a chance let's produce our own government. Our regime will reflect your collective wishes and create wealth .It takes a youth to solve the problem of the youths."

"I have had a great relationship with poverty at some point in my life but I thank God for changing my narrative, so I know what it feels like to be poor and hopeless."

"Today I'm a symbol of hope to  those of you that want to give up on God ,so If God can do it for me he would surely do same for you all. This is not the time for political promises,what Imo needs now is liberation. "

"The earlier we the youth realize that no one owes us anything, the better for us, and the more prepared we will be to face life’s challenges. We must not allow anybody to talk us into believing that we are not yet ready. The best way to predict the future is to design it ourselves!".

Earlier, Comrade Kelechi Chukwu ,Director General, DG Mezie IMO Movement Campaign Organization pointed out that Hon Tony Nwulu is the only youth running for governorship in Imo, stressing that any other youth in the contest is a make believe aspirant.

He enjoined the youth to emancipate themselves from mental slavery and rise up their rightful position by voting for the vibrant  sponsor of the Not Too Young To Run bill that has given every Nigerian youth a voice and the right t to seek any elective position in the country.

Hon. Chukwu seized the platform to appeal to Imo Youth to rally round Hon .Nwulu for support because it takes only a  youth to  solve the problems of the youth.

Chukwu averred that a leader that  has not experienced unemployment all his life  won't know where the shoe pinches.

He assured  that no strata of the society will be ignored under Hon .Tony Nwulu if elected the Governor come 2019.
