-- As Mezie IMO Movement Mourns with Kelechi Kingsley Chukwu
The Mezie IMO State Coordinator, Mr. Kelechi kingsley chukwu who today 26th July, 2018 layed his lovely mother, a woman of substance Mrs. Geraldine Chukwu to rest at his home town Umuezala Ehime Mbano L.G.A Imo state. The ceremony attracted so many dignitaries within and outside IMO state. Among the dignitaries present for the funeral is the Imo front line UNITED PROGRESSIVE PARTY (UPP) Governorship aspirant Hon. Tony Nwulu, the Honourable member currently representing Oshodi/Isolo federal constituency of Lagos state, who came in his entourage to show solidarity to the Cordinator of Mezie Imo Movement group Mr. Kelechi Kingsley chukwu.
His arrival witnessed warm and appealing reception from youths, women and children that attended the burial ceremony. Hon. Tony Nwulu in his address tried to console the family of the deceased as he encourage them to hold unto God in time like this.
In his speech he said he was deeply touched by the death of Kelechi's mother stating that loosing a mother is one of the most painful and heartbreaking memories in the heart of her children. In his remarks he chose never to politicize his coming and presence in the burial ceremony emphasising that the funeral program at hand worth more than any political ambition, stating that he has only come to mourn with the family.
In his usual manner of magnanimity and philanthropism, Hon Tony Nwulu promised the Umuezeala community, Ehime-Mbano LGA, the community of the deceased an ultra-modern Hospital equipments to boost health services in the community in memory of late mrs Geraldine Chukwu-Nwaokorie. In conclusion he said to the family to keep faith in God at all times.
