Hon. Tony Nwulu , Imo Governorship hopeful under the United Progressive Party ,UPP and member representing Oshodi-Isolo 11 Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives has condoled with the family of Mezie Imo Movement State Coordinator, Comrade Kelechi Chukwu over the death of his mother, Lolo Geraldine Egondu Chukwu Nwaokorie who was laid to rest last today Thursday, July 26th.
This was contained in a statement released by Mr. Alex Nwankwo, Media Aide of Hon. Tony Nwulu ,made available to Ifeanyicy.com.
According to Hon .Nwulu ,"I was deeply touched by the death of Kelechi's mother because losing a parent is the most painful stage of one’s life.
“Losing one’s mother is one of the most painful and stubborn memories in the life of children.
“Anyone that has lost a parent before can easily appreciate the pains of Kelechi Chukwu and his siblings over the unfortunate loss of his mother.
“Death is inevitable, and it is a test of one’s faith to suffer tragedies in life,” Nwulu said in the statement.
The gubernatorial hopeful who recently joined the defection train by leaving the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for United Progressive Party UPP.
He further said ,"Nothing can replace the vacuum created by parents in the lives of their children.
“Parents are the most invaluable assets. Nobody can adequately pay back a parent for the sacrifices they make for their children.
“The loss of parents creates a huge vacuum because they are fountains of inspiration and guidance,” the statement read in part.
Nwulu prayed to Almighty God to grant the Kelechi and his family members the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and bless the soul of the deceased.
