Thousands of youths drawn across political lines have gathered at the Ezinihitte Mbaise local government area of Imo State to give their support and solidarity to the political aspiration of Harvard University trained technocrat and former Zenith bank manager, Hon Dr Ikechukwu Njoku to represent them in the House of Representatives come 2019.

The Youths under the umbrella of equity movement said that Dr Njoku is their son to whom they are well pleased, that he has performed creditably in his previous appointive position as Commissioner for finance Imo State, Special Adviser to the Governor on Economic Matters and currently the honourable commissioner for Budget, Planning and Statistics under the rescue mission government of His Excellency governor Rochas Okorocha.

Ifeanyicy.com learnt was instrumental to Governor Rochas Okorocha one million youths empowerment scheme. He was also credited to have brought the Micro finance bank in IMO state and influenced the one built in his Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area.

 The simplicity personified Dr Njoku is an intellectual power house and has proven capacity in all spheres of life.

In answering the numerous calls of his people to come and represent them, Dr Njoku assured them of Democratic dividends, robust engagement and even representation if elected in the green Chambers of the National Assembly.

The University of Nigeria Nsukka graduate stated that it is fair for Ezinihitte Mbaise to be given the opportunity to represent their federal constituency, noting that Ahiazu Mbaise has gone twice consecutively, he promised not to be found wanting in discharge of his legislative duties if elected.

Mr Ikenna Ogueri, an APC youth leader from Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, told our reporter that many youths have benefited from Hon Njoku's scholarship programs, skill acquisition and youths empowerment in Ahiazu Mbaise and Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA's
