An Owerri based journalist, Pastor Bright Chimezie Njoku ,will on April 2, handover a three bedroom bungalow he single handedly built for an indigent octogenarian, Pa Job Okpara.

The handing over ceremony, Okeomanews ,leant will take place at the beneficiary's house, Umuireagwu-Ofodim in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state.

Njoku who is the editor-in-chief cum publisher of Nigeria Horn Newspapers and Brightstar Magazine has over twenty years experience in journalism.

Our correspondent gathered that journalists,top government functionaries from the state,politicians, community leaders and renowned clerics would be part of the handing over ceremony.

The journalist,told our correspondent that the building of the bungalow for the needy was in fulfilment of the covenant he has with God.

According to him ,the gesture was like a burden to him as he was relived of a load immediately he was informed by the site engineers that the building project had been completed.

Njoku ,who lauded the contractors for delivering in a record time,expressed delight that pa Okpara will be having a good roof over his head and household from Monday.

The soft spoken renowned journalist who recently resigned from partisan politics,Okeomanews gathered will spend the remainder of his life in uplifting the downtrodden and the have-not in the society.
