Swedish club Jönköpings Södra have officially announced the signing of Ahmad Gero following a successful trial with the club.
Ahmad who is the younger brother of former Flying Eagles striker Alhaji Gero has been handed a two-year contract with the relegated top-flight club
The 19-year-old was understandably delighted as he begins a new chapter in his football career.
Gero after signing his contract papers told the club's official webpage: ''Jönköping Södra is a good football team and has an exciting game style.
''The people in the city and the people in the club are amazing, just like the fans of the matches. I am here to start my future and will do all I can for the team and to achieve my dreams.''
Ahmad Gero joins Jönköpings Södra from Nigerian academy Ramcy Academy, for whom he scored 10 goals in 12 matches in 2017.
He would draw much inspiration from his elder brother, Alhaji Gero who does his thing for Allsvenskan outfit Ostersunds FK.
