Just after the succession battle between Zimbabwe’s Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the country’s first lady Grace Mugabe got serious, Robert Mugabe has issued out a sack order against him.
The country’s information Minister, Khaya Moyo, who spoke to newsmen in Harare, said the sack was centered on ‘disloyalty’.
“(President) Mugabe has exercised his powers to relieve honourable vice president E.D. Mnangagwa of his position as vice president”.
With this move, it seems Mugabe has backed his wife to succeed him as President of the country.
