Independence Day Speech: Bishop Kukah Lashes Out On Pres. Buhari
The very outspoken Catholic Bishop of Sokoto state and a prominent Nigerian preacher, Bishop Hassan Mathew Kukah, in a public lecture, Monday, has replied the Independence speech of President Mohammadu Buhari.
The social activist Bishop apparently responding to the President Buhari at a public lecture organized by The Platform via the Covenant Christian Centre, Iganmu Lagos, to commemorate the nation's Independence Day celebration which was monitored by IfeanyiCy.com said that there is still a fundamental need to revisit the situations which led to the wars and still recurrent even after over 40yrs the war was fought.
"If you fought a war 40yrs ago, and the problem for which the war was fought still persist, then something is wrong" He lashed out to the president , in a rather obstrictive tone.
The Bishop continued, "Every Nigerian is angry but the reasons may be different" relating the various regional agitations of different ethnic nationalities as been dissatisfied with the Nigeria state while declaring that "Collectively, we are all frustrated in Nigeria".
