On today's Politburo, we are presenting Mr. Stanley Amuchie. Mr. Amuchie was born about 45 years ago to his parents of Umudinka amasaa Uvuru in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State. Mr. Amuchie is a First Class graduate of Industrial Chemistry from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State and graduated as the best graduating student in Industrial Chemistry in the 1992/1993 session. He is married to his beautiful wife Lady Ifenyinwa Mildred Amuchie and are blessed with beautiful children
Mr. Stanley Amuchie serves as the Chief Financial Officer, General Manager and Group Head of Financial Control & Strategic Planning Group of Zenith Bank Plc. He served as its Director since March 3, 2015 until date.
Prior to his engagement with Zenith Bank, he had worked with Arthur Andersen (now KPMG Professional Services) between 1995 and 2000 where he rose to the level of a Senior Manager before exiting it in February 2000 to join the banking industry. While in Arthur Andersen, he worked on both Business Advisory and Consulting Assignments for major Financial Institutions in Nigeria and other West African countries.
As recognition of his contribution towards the success of the bank, he was honoured with the award of the best performing staff of Financial Control and Strategic Planning Department in 2004 and 2006 by the GMD/CEO of the bank. He is a Fellow (FCA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and honorary senior member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB).
STANLEY AMUCHIE has about two decades post-graduation experience spanning Quality Control, Audit, Consulting and Banking, 18 of which has been in the Financial Services industry. He also coordinated the Bank’s Foreign Subsidiaries’ Operations.
Amuchie is the Founder and President of GOOD LIGHT FOUNDATION a philanthropic organisation that has given succour and shelter to many homeless and indigent people in the State and beyond. Latest in the list is the three Bedroom Bungalow built and furnished to taste for indigent Widows, Mrs Gladys Oguledo of Umuobaa, Umuosike, Ogbor-uvuru, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State which was handed over to her on 31st of May, 2017 and a three bedroom furnished to taste for Mrs Jacinta Onyekaozuru of Okponkume in Ahiazu Mbaise same day. He also extended his goodwill to 10 patients in new creation hospital in orji owerri whom could afford their bills of about 1.2m total amount.
