The operatives of Imo State Police Command, Anti-kidnapping unit has arrested and subsequently paraded before newsmen, today September 7th, 2017 the gunmen responsible for the abduction of ace gospel singer, prince CHINEDU Nwadike. 
 
 
The gospel singer was robbed of his red coloured Honda CRV Jeep with registration No ABN 492 TS along World Bank Road near Great Gospel Liberation International Church, New Owerri, Imo State on the 10th of July, 2017 at about 1940hrs according to police report. 
 
 The kidnap suspects were reported to have collected a ransom of four million naira (N4m) from the victim's relatives before he was released. Moreover, the suspects according to Commissioner of Police, Imo State Police Command, CP Ezike have confessed to the crime and the gospel singer's car recovered at Calabar - Cross River State. 
 
Names of the suspects Pareded by the police are: Chibuike Owen, male, 26yrs, hails from Umuogele, Isiala Ngwa Abia State. Obinna Onye (m) 36yrs from Umueze Amaimo in Ikeduru LGA of Imo State, Chiagoziem Okoye(m) 36yrs from Ukwulu Durukofia LGA of Anambra State, Chukwuemeka Daniel (m) 28yrs from Ogwa Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State, Anyanwu Odinakachi (m) 40yrs from Umuobia Olokoro in Umuahia South LGA of Abia State. The recovered car which was originally red was repainted to black by the kidnappers and was said to have been sold two hundred and fifty thousand naira (N250k).
