The President and founder of Ndubuisi Emenike Foundation, Engr Ndubuisi Emenike yesterday visited the site of ongoing renovation/building of a New Healthcare Centre at his hometown, Umuduru Nsu in Ehime-mbano LGA Imo State.
Engr Emenike said he was moved to build and equip the abandoned health Centre in his community to ensure that women and children at the rural area can afford good health services. He reiterated that a situation were there is no functional health facility in the rural communities, sick patients, especially pregnant women will find it difficult. He imagine an emergency situation in the night or a woman with labour without a functional health Centre.
The President of Ndubuisi Emenike Foundation said, God has blessed him and to appreciate God's awesomeness in his life, he decided to invest his money and time to serve humanity. He promised to extend the building of the Healthcare Centre with staff quarters to other communities in his local government Area.
At the site of the government abandoned Healthcare Centre, Engr Emenike is building a brand new hospital with medical facilities; to be fully equipped with the Emergency and Paediatric department, ward, drilling of borehole with overhead tank, provision of big generator, drugs, building of Staff quarters among others as well as renovating the old but abandoned block.
The President of Umuduru town union, women leader and the traditional ruler of the community were of praises to their son, noting that what government has failed to do for them for decades, God has used their son to bless them and wipe away their tears. They all thank Engr Emenike for his good gesture.
