Prince Obinna Okwara Joins APC, Says " I'm at home now with my people". Uche Nwosu describes it as a right step in right direction.
The former House of Assembly member for Nkwerre LGA state Constituency, Hon. Obinna Okwara has left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and joined All Progressives Congress, APC.
The son of His Royal Highness, Eze Okwara (Eshi) who is not done yet with Politics maintained that his decision to join APC is a well thought line having considered certain issues of high magnitude but with progress and interest of Nkwerre LGA at heart.
Prince Obinna noted that leaving PDP is never in regret because according to him as reported by other media, PDP is in high level of discordant and disarray. This is owing to grave issues that were not addressed at the budding stage.
In PDP, lack of internal democracy, internal power tussle and the inability to establish a legitimate leadership in the party are not far fetched from the high of disarray in the party. He further advised other members who are not comfortable with the ugly developments in PDP to join him to APC, Prince Obinna added.
He furthermore described Ugwumba Uche Nwosu as a leader with open arms and mind, ready to accommodate others like never before. He maintained that the way Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is going about his leadership responsibility is infectious and magnetic.
Reacting, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, an illustrious son from Eziama Obaire, Nkwerre LGA and Chief of Staff to Imo State Governor has described the action as a right one in the right direction. He maintained that Prince Obinna has demonstrated that he appreciates the massive development projects carried out by Rescue Mission Government of Imo State under Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
Personally, i am happy by this singular act while calling on others to join APC for the development of our state, he added.
He challenged other leaders and politicians saying; Let's join hands together and move Nkwerre LGA to the next level.
