Following speculations in some quarters that he had unceremoniously left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Hope Uzodinma representing Imo West has said that he will never leave the party for anybody.
Speaking with our reporter on phone, Uzodinma berated those who are peddling the rumor, stressing that as a ranking Senator of the PDP extraction and also a member of the board of Trustee, BOT of the party, he cannot abandon the party, he suffered to build for anyone.
According to him, those claiming to own the structure of the party in Imo State should hold their breath, saying at the appropriate time, PDP members and delegates will decide who will fly the flag of the party.
On the Supreme Court judgement that sacked the Ali Modu Sheriff led National Executive, the Orlu Zone Senator reinstated his belief in the judiciary, stressing however that while the Apex court announced Alhaji Ahmed Makarfi as the authentic National Caretaker Committee Chairman of the Party, the Supreme Court did not decide that of Imo State where the State Exco led by Barrister Nnamdi Anyaehie was properly constituted.
He advised PDP members in the state to close ranks and avoid further bickering, saying both Markafi and Sheriff are not even from Imo State.
Uzodinma popularly called Onwa Oyoko described those people alleging that he is moving with his supporters to Mega party as cheap propagandists and Blackmailers, urging imolites to disregard their antics as he has no plans to dump PDP.
