Yesterday, a Facebook user, IfeanyiCy Njoku reported about one Mr Chukwuemeka Ifeanyichukwu Iroenyenwa and his wife Chidinma Blessing from Mbaitoli LGA, of Imo State who gave birth to newborn baby girl at Ebubedike Memorial Hospital, No. 71 Oparanozie street Owerri, Near Waterside Primary School, off Royce Rd and couldn't be able to pay Hospital bill of N40.000 (Forty thousand naira).
Here's a good news, on reading the post I made here, an Imo son who just returned from abroad immediately called to pay the hospital bill. The person who want to remain anonymous handed over to me the sum of N40.000 and I drove straight to the Hospital where I met the owner of Ebubedike Memorial Hospital , Dr Casmir K Ebubedike Sr, he graciously take off a 50% discount from the hospital bill on humanitarian ground, remaining N20k. I paid off the N20k and handed over the sum of additional N20k to the family for upkeep of the newborn.
The good Samaritan who gave me the money didn't stop there , he also paid hospital bills of five indigent patients totally about four hundred thousand (N400,000) at Federal Medical Centre, FMC, OWERRI.
While I urge us all to come forward with more support for Mr. Chukwuemeka Ifeanyichukwu Iroenyenwa's family to help in the up keep of their new born baby, I pray God to bless the good samaritan who had invested his hard earned money in taking care of the less privileged in our society. The grace of God is upon him. He is blessed! He will continue to prosper!
