It was all joy, praise and worship to the family of Nwadiuche, from Orlu local government area of Imo State as their mother, Mrs Okwara Felicia Nwadiuche who has been confined in the hospital bed since September last year has regained freedom.
Mrs Nwadiuche had a very serious sickness called TB of the Spine, which confined her to a bed, not standing, seating or walking since November last year, but due to intensive medical care she had received, her health was restored back though not completely healed.
She was discharged by the management of Federal Medical Centre Owerri three weeks ago, the poor children had paid through the nose yet a whooping medical bill of Ninety five thousand naira was hanging.
Ifeanyicy Blog was contacted by an Imo son from Ideato LGA who leaved in Senegal, and he requested I help the poor family contact good spirited individuals who could help complete her hospital bill balance, himself haven spent alot assisting the family he is not even related to.
He wrote "I have been following your good work of soliciting for assistance to help people like that so i told her daughter to plead with you if you can help her announce their plight in your blog to see if they can be lucky to get help... The woman have been sick for long now and was discharged for some time now but no money for the payment." Mr John-favour Ndubuisi Egwim stated in Facebook inbox.
I immediately contact the daughter miss Ogechukwu, and asked her to send me her mother's picture, while urging her to pray for God's intervention.
Today Friday 14 July, I walked into Rockview hotel Owerri to behold an old friend, a young businessman from Mbieri in Mbaitoli LGA, Mr Chukwuma Maxwell Nwosu who returned Qatar. We exchanged pleasantries, and he told me he love what am doing online assisting the less privileged, that he likes such kind gesture especially helping the indigent poor families . Immediately I reminded him the women's health challenge, showed him pictures in my phone, Mr Chukwuma was moved and the only word he could utter was how much is the hospital bill, I told him Ninety thousand naira as I was briefed, he said where is she. I said FMC. He volunteered immediately to pay the hospital bill, being overwhelmed with joy, I told him to forget the beer he is sipping , let go first and save the women's situation before hospital management close work for the day. Mr Nwosu, obliged and we drove to FMC Owerri and instantly, Chukwuma paid the sum of Ninety Five revealed to us by the hospital management as her total left over bill . The sick woman couldn't hold her joy, while crying out of joy, she prayed for Chukwuma, "my son, it shall be well with you" and Chukwuma Maxwell Nwosu said Amen.
