The Aboh Mbaise born knight of the Anglican Communion, Sir Stanley Amuchie is the Chief Financial officer (CFO), GM and Group Head of Financial Control & Strategic Planning Group, Zenith Bank Plc.
Mr. Amuchie joined the services of Zenith Bank in February 2000 in the middle management cadre from where he rose to his present position of General Manager/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the bank. Prior to his engagement with Zenith Bank, he had worked with Arthur Andersen (now KPMG Professional Services) between 1995 and 2000 where he rose to the level of a Senior before exiting it in February 2000 to join the banking industry.
While in Arthur Andersen, he worked on both Business Advisory and Consulting Assignments for major Financial Institutions in Nigeria and other West African countries. As recognition of his contribution towards the success of the bank, he was honoured with the award of the best performing staff of Financial Control and Strategic Planning Department in 2004 and 2006 by the GMD/CEO of the bank.
He is a fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and honorary member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB). Mr. Amuchie is a First Class graduate of Industrial Chemistry from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State and graduated as the best graduating student in Industrial Chemistry in the 1992/1993 session.
The many award winning recipient is the Founder and President of Good Light Foundation, an NGO championing selfless service to God and mankind.
Through the NGO, he builds houses to the less privileged who couldn't afford a shelter over their heads, building and equipping health centres, rural electrification, drilling water borehole for rural communities, training the children of the poorest of the poor in secondary and University education under his scholarship, empowering the widows and equipping security agencies to ease their work of fighting crimes and criminalities.
He has helped so many communities in building Halls and Churches. Ultimately, he has maximized his executive position in the bank to secure 400 jobs for in Imo Youths; 150 in Zenith Bank alone and 250 in other financial institutions.
During this year's mother's day celebration, he gave N12 million for women empowerment to twelve Anglican Diocese in Imo State and another N9 million for women empowerment for the four Catholic Diocese in Imo State.
Through his Medical Outreach, Sir Amuchie pays Hospital bills for indigent people who couldn't afford it.
No wonder, the people of Mbaise nation call him Aku-ruo-ulo, the whole Lagos State Anglican Communion gave him Humanity Service Award.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
