As part of efforts in ensuring the beneficiaries of His Excellency, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha’s #1 million empowerment scheme across the youths in the 27 Local Government Area of the State invests wisely in meaningful ventures, the 3 sister LGAs comprising of Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West have begun entrepreneurship training on their young millionaires.

Speaking to the beneficiaries in his office this afternoon, the Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations), Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima charged the young millionaires to first of all see themselves as one, must work together as brothers and should put their resources, finance, time and every other thing to make them succeed.

The immediate past TC Chairmen of Oru west, Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta charged the beneficiaries to be focused and the importance of starting small and on the need to engage themselves in healthy competition.
The MD, ISOPADEC, also hinted on the need for them to form a cooperative society and go into joint businesses, he assured them ISOPADEC would be willing to partner with them in that area.

Hon. Remmy Chukwunyere also hinted on the potentials inherent in them which when discovered can transform them into millionaires, he charged them to be focused and invest in what they have passion for.
Hon. Uju Kingsley challenged the beneficiaries to live up to expectations and ensure they invest wisely insisting many of them never had the opportunity of starting this big, he highlighted business proposals to them and assured them the empowerment training will go on until they are fully convinced on what business to go into.

  1. It was a great privilege speaking to those young millionaires yesterday.

    I introduced them to high profitable investment opportunities available in the agricultural and ICT sectors as well as other funding opportunities that can assist them scale up after launching out.

    I equally promised to equip them with entrepreneurial and managerial skills, such as basic book keeping, marketing, business modeling, etc that will enable them turn the one million naira startup capital from the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha into multi-million naira business ventures.

    Imo Must be Better and the Youths Must Be Engaged!
