A former Governor of Imo State,Dr Ikedi Ohakim, has sent his message of sympathy to a renowned philanthropist cum economist, Chief Dr (Amb) Ikenna Aniche (Nke Nke Enyi Izuogu) on the timely demise of his father, Chief Ikechukwu Donatus Clement Aniche.
Dr Ohakim who is the first notable Nigerian to call the chief mourner minutes the death was announced to console him , urged Dr Aniche to take solace in the fact that his father gave birth to a son like him who has impacted the world, positively .
Mourning Chief Aniche, the former Governor said "Nke Nke Nke, why should this happen to you now?. You are a good man and you are doing well" .
He maintained that the essence of living was to impact destinies, saying that available records showed that the deceased was a good and disciplined man .
He prayed God to grant the entire Aniche family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss even as he implored Dr Aniche to accept his sympathy and that of his family .
Born on March 1,1929, and passed on, on Tuesday, June 6,2017, Chief Aniche was a renowned educationist, customary court judge and a selfless community leader.
