Ilomuanya Dares Okorocha, Appears in Ezeship Regalia at Reception of Federal Lawmaker,with Imo Governor in Attendance
His Royal Highness, Eze Cletus Ikechukwu Ilomuanya, Obi of Obinugwu and Chairman Imo State Council of Ndi-Eze, who has been receiving threats that he would be jailed if he Insists parading himself as Eze which also attracted threats to journalists who dare call him an Eze will be prosecuted, stormed the State over the weekend to attend the grand civic reception organized in Honor of the member representing Isu, Njaba, Nwangele and Nkwerre LGAs at the Federal House of Representatives.
Ifeanyicy.com reports that, the Grand Civic Reception which attracted top personalities both within and outside the state, including Leadership of the National Assembly, Chairman of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo, Former Governor of Imo State, Former Governor of old Anambra state, Ministers, Senators, Justices of Supreme Courts and Court of Appeal, Captains of industries, Traditional and Religious Leaders, Top management of Nigeria Economy drawn from the CBN, NDIC, AMCON, etc, had in attendance also the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha ably represented by his Chief of Staff, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu who incidentally is his son in-law.
Eze Ilomuanya who majestically walked into the venue of the grand Civic Reception along side his Ugoeze, in his full regalia and was given a royal Reception, and seat positioned by the side of the Governor. He equally exchanged pleasantries with the Governor ably represented and other dignitaries.
With Eze Ilomuanya's attending the occasion, fully robed and not molested as threatened, he has exercised his full rights as a free born of the state who still enjoys the fellowership of his Obinugwu community, based on the report that after the programme he proceeded to the palace at Obinugwu where he was said to have presided over some meeting.
It would also be recalled that few days ago, HRM, Eze Samuel Ohiri, whom Okorocha used to replace Ilomuanya as Chairman Council of Ndi Eze in Imo State had threatened journalists that whoever recognizes Eze Ilomuanya as a Traditional Ruler will be prosecuted, coming days after the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha himself threatened to banish HRH Eze Ilomuanya, if seen parading himself again as Eze, after his alleged dethronement by the state government, for reasons undisclosed.
