* Revealed by Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha that  Okorocha received about N175 billion Imo LGA Funds between May 2011 and December 2014.

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and governorship candidate of the PDP in Imo State, Chief Emeka Ihedioha has lambasted the government of Owelle Rochas Okorocha for massive fraud and misapplication of funds meant for the development of the State.
Addressing newsmen in Owerri, the deputy speaker revealed that the State has received the total sum of 175, 034,754, 198.58.
In the document obtained from the office of the Director of Budget, Federal Ministry of Finance, it was established that Mbaitoli, Aboh Mbaise, Ohaji Egbema and Isiala Mbano LGAs received the highest allocations, within the period under review, while Nkwere, Nwangele, Obowo and Onuimo LGAs received the lowest allocations within the period.
In Ihedioha's words " “All the 27 local government areas of the state are simply comatose. No visible activity is going on in any of them, while the state government has illegally coveted their funds for inexplicable reasons."

"Before now the government of Owelle Rochas Okorocha has enjoyed an infamous rating as one of the most corrupt, ineffective and deceptive government in the Federation, hence, Ihedioha's revelation will not come to most people as a surprise.
These figures are outside the trillions of Naira that has accrued to the State through other Federal Government packages like the normal monthly allocations to the State which hovers above 12 billion Naira every month, the Sure-P grants, TETFUND, ETF, UBEC, MDG, Ecological funds, Excess Crude Accounts accruals, 26 billion handed Over to Okorocha by immediate past Government of Dr  Ikedi Ohakim and the 13 percent derivation. A cursory analysis will tell you that Imo receives nothing less than 28 billion Naira from the Federation Account monthly from the Federal Government since the Goodluck Jonathan administration came into power in 2011. When you compare this to a paltry 2.5 billion for first two years and later 4 billion Naira or less which the government of Ikedi Ohakim received monthly for the four years it stayed in power, you will rethink your commendations of this Rochas government and give due credit to Ohakim's inimitable managerial wizardry and exceptional sincerity.
WE CERTAINLY NEED TO SEND ROCHAS PACKING, BUT WE HAVEN'T FOUND WHOM TO REPLACE HIM WITH."

Okorocha Explains Use of LG Allocation.

In a swift reaction to the much published LGA allocations received by the Imo State Government since 2011 - 2014, the administration of Rescue Mission Government has confirmed the reception of the huge allocated funds meant for 27 LGAs in Imo State but insists that they came with some deductions.

According to a Press Release from the Spokesperson of the Rochas Okorocha-led administration, Mr Sam Onwuemeodo, "We do not intend to join issues Hon Ihedioha on the allocations he published but suffice it to say that, as House of Representatives member for twelve (12) years, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives at the moment, he should have known more than most people in the State that allocations do not get to the state as published," the release read.

Onwuemeodo further stated that there is no amount of allocation that has not been justified nothing that the 'free education' programme is capital intensive. That out of the 36 states in the federation, that it is only Imo State that is running free and qualitative education at all levels with many other monumental infrastructural developments going on in the state.
He however asked the Deputy Speaker, Hon Emeka Ihedioha who is also the Imo PDP guber candidate  what he has done to the people of Imo State for past 12 years he has been in power.
