Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo, today, donated the sum of 2 million naira to the ailing Ex-Green Eagles star, Kelechi Emetole, in order to assist him in his medical bill. It was indeed a huge  gesture cum relief for Kelechi Emeteole, who has been suffering from Cancer of the throat over a period of time. His present health condition became a topical issue and matter of discuss amongst Nigerians who were of the view that good spirited individuals should as a matter of urgency come to his rescue, in view  of the important roles he has played in the country's sporting history. He was a one time green eagles player and after his retirement,  joined coaching profession where he has left a resonant mark inscribed in the history of Nigeria football history. He has coached Heartland Football club, Rangers football club, Elkanemi Warriors, among many others.

Ifeanyicy.com exclusively gathered that on hearing the pitiable condition of the football veteran, Mr Kenneth Emeruo had to come to his rescue in order to save his life. It was gathered that the joy of his family members knew no bound on hearing the cheering and cheerful news of Omeruo's gesture and generosity  towards Kelechi, they prayed God to replenish his pocket. Football lovers accross the country, are equally happy with Omeruo as commendation has continued to trail the good news.

Kenneth Josiah Omeruo, is a Super eagles cum Nigerian professional defender. He plays for Turkish club Alanyaspor, on loan from English football club Chelsea. He was part of the Super Eagles team that won the third African cup of Nation for Nigeria in 2012. Ever since then, Omeruo has continued to blaze the trail in his chosen career.
