According to a short text message from Hon. Kingsley Chima Uju, the Deputy Chief of Staff (Operation) to Imo state Government, who is from the Oil Rich region reads:

"As part the acting president's tour of the oil bearing communities in the Niger Delta, the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, today visited  Ohaji/Egbema in Imo State to inspect Federal government projects, especially those that were abandoned. Those visited are the Skills Acquisition Centre in Abaezi Egbema abandoned by NDDC and the Egbema power plant abandoned by the Federal Government. The Acting president after the tour  assured the people that all the contractors who abandoned their projects would be mandated to return to site and also promised to look into the request made by the people to convert the abandoned Skills Acquisition Centre into the proposed Niger Delta University of Science and Technology.
In the Acting President's entourage which landed with 3 helicopters in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Headquarters were, the Chief Host- the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha, the Deputy governor of Imo State, Prince Madumere, Ministers of Niger Delta, Transport, State Petroleum,  - Useni Uguru Useni, Rotimi Amaechi, and Ibe Kachukwu. Others include, Special Adviser to the president on Niger Delta Affairs- Paul Boro, National Organising Secretary of APC- Osita Izunaso, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and a host of others. The visit of the acting president is historic, this is the first time in Imo State a Local Government (Ohaji/Egbema) will be hosting an Acting President, the governor, Deputy governor and ministers of the Federal Government. Ohaji/Egbema! Home of hospitality, tradition & culture, even the acting president and the governor could not help but to walk on the streets of Ohaji/Egbema just to feel the warmth hospitality of my people.
#Ohaji/Egbema Shall Be Great Again in Our Time!"
