Ugwumba Nwosu stated this at four different wedding ceremonies involving; his younger sister,former Miss Ifeoma Chinyere Nwosu &Mr Evans Nwokedi Nwosu, that between the paralympic medalist from Imo State, Precious Josephine Orji and her Husband Kelechi Moses Nwobi.
Speaking at the traditional marriage of his sister, Nwosu who handed his sister to the husband as the father of the house urged them to lean on God for everything they may need for a successful married life, adding that the marriage is for the two of them.
Adding her voice, the mother of the bride, Mrs. Jemaimah Nwosu advised her daughter to always subject herself under her husband, honour and respect him at all times regardless of her brother's position and fame.
The occasion also served to emphasize the fact that politics should be separated from social life and unity between brothers and sisters. This was manifested in the fact that the chairman of PDP in the state Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie who is also an indegene of Nkwerre was among dignitaries that graced the occasion and enjoyed pleasantries with the chief of staff and the family at the occasion.
At the white wedding reception of the world paralympic gold medalist, Nwosu counted her husband lucky for marrying the "number one man in the world of paralympic games". He described Precious Orji as humility personified.
He advised them on the need to imbibe the virtue of tolerance and forgiveness for their union to stand firm at times of trials and difficulties.
The case was not much different at the wedding reception between Mr. Christian Onyebuchi Oduka and Miss Jennifer Nwoga which took place at Imo International Conference Centre (IICC) Owerri, Nwosu acknowledged them for picking him out of notable personalities to be the chairman of the occasion.
He advised both of them to feel the commitment of achieving a successful marital life while praying God to bless them in all ramifications.
At the wedding reception between Miss Ijeuru Ijioma and Mr. Peter Ogoh which was held at the Council Hall of Nkwerre Local Government Headquarters, Nwosu was full of praise as he described Ijeuru as highly dedicated to duty and hardworking, he advised her to show such dedication to her marriage and put effort towards making it work in union with her husband and advised both of them to anchor and rely on the grace of God for their marriage to be successful.
